Terms 3-4 – Exciting Explorers

Each week, we are learning songs from around the world. Click the links below to sing along!

We are learning a 3-part song called ‘A Healthy Life’ to link with our PSHE learning. We had an extra conductor to help Mrs. Parkins with such a tricky song this week!

We sang the Dragon Dance and made our giant choir dragon in the hall.

This week, we sang songs from 3 different continents: North America, South America and Asia. Our challenge next week is to sing even more!

We faced the challenge and managed North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Antarctica this week. Thanks to one of our choir members, we have found a song to sing for Antarctica: the Penguin Song! Let’s see if we can include Africa next week, and we will have sung around the world. Challenge on!

26.05.16
This week, we sang about ‘The Jungles of Brazil’ and played instruments to match each animal noise. We say hello to the snakes, parrots, lions and monkeys! We learned that the lions do not belong in the jungles of Brazil, so we changed our song to include tigers!

We had an eventful choir club this week, with a visit from Lincs FM on their ‘Take The Cake’ visit. We even had our singing recorded. Listen out for us on the radio soon!
