Well done to all of the children who took part in the internet safety competition following our online safety day last term. The entries were outstanding from the Reception children all the way up to our Year Three class. The children demonstrated that they had researched and remembered all of the important facts of staying safe whilst online. The entries were imaginative and unique and here are our winners and runners up. Thank you to everyone who took part. Our winners won a £5 voucher from The Works and our runners up received some writing materials.
The children also looked at e-safety in their classes. Year 1 watched some interesting e-safety videos which showed the importance of not sharing your personal information online. Year 2 made some e-safety fact sheets to test their knowledge. Year 3 took part in the day by creating a Ten Top Tips poster which gave advice on how to keep safe online and what to do if you spot something not quite right. They also completed a leaflet and used facts from the poster to help them.
