World Book Day 1st March 2018

The children are allowed to dress up as their favourite book character on this day. The school will also run a competition for the best costume/character in each class with a reading voucher as the main prize! We look forward to seeing how creative you can get with your costumes this year!

Book Swap!

We will also be having a book swap after school, 3:15-3:45pm. Children can bring an unwanted children’s book from home to swap for another! A small fee of 20p a book will go towards funding further competitions. After the half term you can start to bring any unwanted children’s books to school. Thank you for and support and we look forward to seeing you there.

Parents and carers attended an assembly led by the Year 4 class to celebrate the Harvest.

The pupils performed Harvest songs, shared poetry and writing about the event and expressed the importance of collecting food for the local food bank for those less fortunate.

Our other classes joined in too, with a vibrant rendition of the 'Harvest Samba' and 'Autumn Days'.
